ISO 8601 Filename

This software provides an almost ISO 8601 compliant, formatted date for use in e.g. filenames. Useful for sorting files and versioning. The string is stored in your clipboard under the following format: year_month_day_hoursminutesseconds, ex. 2023-08-11_184323.

Then you can paste it anywhere: diary entries, filenames, logs, comments... This way, sorting files in Explorer will be faster and chronological, and maybe you'll gain in productivity. The second part of the text can be replaced by the topic of your file/folder, ex. "2023-08-15_Camera Export", or "2023-05-10_Meeting Summary". Handy!

You can edit the way the date is formatted by using the "Configuration" shortcut from the Start Menu (editable iso8601_config.txt file). My preference goes to yy_MM_dd - HH_mm_ss.
